Trash Panda’s Delight

I attended a taxidermy workshop at The Oddities & Curiosities Expos this was my first taxidermy project. Racoon was ethically sourced by the Sleeping Sirens.

Racoon is mounted on a 9x12 wooden plaque covered with black wool felt. Each piece was needle felted and securely attached.

This piece has 10 needle felted pieces.
- Overly ripe banana
- French fries container with two fries
- Lunch size chocolate milk box
- Can of Diet Coke
- Can of tuna fish with some left over
- Broken wine bottle
- Apple core
- Spoiled romaine lettuce leaf
- Chewed gum
- Cigarette butt

Care instructions:
Needle felting is soft to the touch but should not be overly handled as it will warp or increase in fuzziness. Keep out of prolonged sunlight as over exposure will cause colors to fade. To remove dust, use compressed air at a safe distance of 8 to 12 inches.
